Cancer Treatment Options Continue to Progress
Traditional cytotoxic chemotherapy has known, well-documented side effects, typically related to killing rapidly growing cells. GSK and others also appreciate the challenges this may present to patients and their caregivers. We have been working to identify targeted agents that can more specifically attack cancer cells without damaging other rapidly growing normal cells.
